OnDeck makes key appointment

OnDeck recently announced the appointment of Jerry Yohananov, the former chief financial officer at SocietyOne, to its management team.

In addition to his previous role at SocietyOne, Mr Yohananov also has experience working for non-bank lending companies and start-ups such as TrustDefender, NextGen Gaming, KPNQwest and KPMG Audit. Additionally, he has over 25 years of combined experience in financial services and investor lending.

According to OnDeck, Mr Yohananov’s appointment comes at an “opportune” time as the company looks to its next level of growth after a successful first year of operations.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO of OnDeck Australia Cameron Poolman said: “We are delighted to welcome Jerry to the team. He will be instrumental in helping us achieve a leadership position in the Australian market.”

“Jerry’s industry experience will play a key role in strengthening our capabilities to deliver great value to our customers in the coming future,” Mr Poolman concluded.
