Former ANZ manager joins Mortgage Choice

Amanda Scott, the former regional manager for SA/NT at ANZ, has been appointed as Mortgage Choice’s new SA state manager.

Following more than 20 years with the big four bank, Ms Scott has joined the mortgage brand in a bid to “further enhance” its position within the South Australian home loan market.

Ms Scott was formerly ANZ’s SA/NT regional manager and had previously also been a senior business development manager with the bank for more than 15 years.

Speaking of her appointment, Mortgage Choice CEO John Flavell said that it was “wonderful” to have someone of Ms Scott’s calibre join the Mortgage Choice team.

“Amanda’s wealth of experience means she is ideally placed to lead Mortgage Choice to further growth in the financial services sector across South Australia,” Mr Flavell said.

“Amanda’s previous experience with ANZ means she is already well known and well loved by everyone within the Mortgage Choice network. Her knowledge, intelligence and can-do attitude will put her in good stead.

“I am confident that Amanda has every skill and ability needed to help our South Australian network of franchisees grow, evolve and prosper.”

Noting that she had dealt “extensively” with the Mortgage Choice SA network throughout her career, Ms Scott said that she was ready to hit the ground running and was looking forward to helping Mortgage Choice’s franchise network and their customers.

“I have a significant amount of experience in mortgage broking, financial planning and small business management,” the SA state manager said, "and I look forward to bringing all that I know to this new role."

Ms Scott added: “I am excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to do whatever it takes to help my new network of small business owners achieve every success.”
