Suncorp picks up international award

Suncorp Bank has been awarded a prestigious title as part of the global Euromoney Awards for Excellence.

The non-major lender has been named the best bank in Australia, in recognition of the strength and position of its balance sheet and prudent risk management capabilities.

Suncorp Bank’s head of intermediaries, Steven Degetto, said to receive international recognition was a fantastic way to finish the financial year.

“Over the past 12 months, Suncorp Bank has achieved a number of key milestones and this award is an acknowledgement that we are making the right decisions for our customers and our broker partners,” he said.

“Suncorp Bank prides itself on being at the forefront of the industry. We have achieved this position through our suite of diverse personal and business products, an investment in new digital capabilities and our unwavering commitment to supporting Australians to achieve their financial goals.
