ASX-listed lender DirectMoney has appointed a former banking executive as a new director of its board.

John Nantes will join DirectMoney’s board as a non-executive director, and has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to his current role as chief portfolio manager for The Adcock Group, Mr Nantes was group head of financial services at Crowe Horwath, and has also held senior executive roles at St George Bank and Colonial State Bank.

Mr Nantes is currently also a director at financial services company Cashwerkz.
