Mortgage law company ramps up growth strategy

MSA National has appointed a new chief operations officer to help drive the company’s next phase of growth and diversification.

The legal services provider, which specialises in mortgage-industry matters, this week announced the appointment of Marjana Cvetanoska as chief operations officer, effective from 22 May 2017.

MSA National managing director Sam Makhoul said a key priority of MSA is to drive the next phase of the company’s development as an “innovative” provider of legal services and digital technology solutions to the financial services sector.

“Marjana’s appointment is a message to the market that MSA National is serious about growth and diversification in the market. Marjana brings a diverse range of skills that are unique and match perfectly with MSA’s positioning as more than just a legal services provider,” Mr Makhoul said.

Ms Cvetanoska joins MSA National from The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, where she held a managing director role, leading regional teams in Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.

As a qualified lawyer with more than 17 years’ financial services experience, Ms Cvetanoska’s career includes leadership and management positions across legal, risk, compliance and operations in multinational banking institutions including ABN Amro and Rabobank.
