Non-bank lender names new general manager

Resicom has announced the appointment of Natalie Sheehan to the role of general manager.

Non-bank lender Resicom has announced that Natalie Sheehan has been appointed to the role of general manager, replacing Janai Hunter, who is taking an extended leave of absence after six years of working for the Melbourne-based lender.

Ms Sheehan is also the founder of a mentoring business for brokers, More Than Mentoring, and has held the position of chief operating officer at Finsure-owned mortgage lender Better Choice Home Loans.

The incoming general manager described the new role as “a wonderful opportunity to work with great people who are passionate about the future of the broking industry”.

She said Resicom is “well placed to support brokers looking to pivot and grow their business during 2019 and beyond”.

Resicom CEO and managing director Stephen Mitchell said: “Natalie will bring with her a wealth of knowledge and experience, which will be instrumental with the implementation of our... growth plans for 2019 and beyond”.

“Janai has been an integral part of our business for the last six years and will be sorely missed, but we wish her all the best with her future endeavours,” Mr Mitchell added.

The new general manager said she “is excited about the opportunities ahead for Resicom in a rapidly changing market where brokers are looking to support non-bank lenders and may be uncertain about how to re-invent their business for growth given the recent recommendations from the royal commission.”

Resicom is a privately owned lender and provides services to brokers “specialising in residential, commercial and alternative documentation loans”.
