Credit specialist maintains ‘strong’ rating

La Trobe Financial Asset Management has received a ‘strong’ rating from Australia Ratings for the second consecutive year.

The ‘strong’ rating factors in the La Trobe Financial Group’s operational components including compliance, financial adequacy and stability.

Australia Ratings said La Trobe Financial has demonstrated a good operating capability, contributing to its successful 62-year track record.

“Key to La Trobe Financial’s sound operation is the experience and knowledge of its management together with its approach in choosing the right mortgages to match investor appetite,” the ratings agency said.

La Trobe Financial chief executive Greg O’Neill said the group is proud to have received the 'strong' rating for the second year in a row.
