MyState announces board changes

Warren Lee and Andrea Waters will be made non-executive directors following MyState’s Annual General Meeting on 19 October 2017.

Andrea Waters is an accountant specialising in financial services audit and was formerly a partner at KPMG. She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry; is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand; and holds a non-executive director position at Cash Converters International Ltd, Care Super, Bennelong Funds Management Group and Citywide Service Solutions Pty Ltd.

Warren Lee is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and has held senior management positions at AXA for more than 15 years. He was most recently CEO of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation and CEO for Australia and New Zealand for AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd.

MyState chairman Miles Hampton said: “We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea and Warren as part of our board renewal plan... [They] will bring extensive experience to the board and we look forward to their contribution.” 

In addition to these appointments, Mr Hampton announced the retirement of Colin Hollingsworth at the closing of the AGM on 19 October.

Mr Hollingsworth has been chairman of the group audit committee through his tenure. He was first appointed to the role in 2009.
