MyBusiness to host free event for business owners

MyBusiness has announced a line-up of key decision makers, dignitaries, business owners and mental health advocates for a new, free, virtual conference for Australian business owners.

With the coronavirus crisis continuing to wreak havoc on small to medium-sized business owners across the country, our sister brand, My Business, is helping SMEs learn the strategies, tactics and tools they need to stay afloat and be part of Australia’s post-COVID-19 economic resurgence.

Having recognised that the immensity of information available can be overwhelming for struggling business owners, MyBusiness has curated a free, virtual conference running between 15-17 September.

With over 20 expert-led sessions, keynote addresses by government officials (including small business minister Michaelia Cash), fireside chats and panel discussions, business owners will gain the critical information and vital tactics needed to ensure their businesses not only survive the COVID crisis, but thrive into the future, too.

The three-day event, MyBusiness Week, will also include product solution demos, networking opportunities and one-on-one conversations with product and service providers to help SME owners make more efficient use of their time.

“Our unique, live broadcast event was designed specifically to give our small to medium business owners direct access to decision makers and dignitaries that have been part of Australia’s COVID-19 economic response since the beginning,” said Maja Garaca Djurdjevic, MyBusiness editor.

“At the same time, we want to equip our business owners with the right skills to continue to fight this fight, which is probably the biggest they’ve dealt with in their lifetimes,” she explained.

She called on businesses to set aside a few hours each day to work on their businesses and plan for the coming pandemic months by registering for the free sessions.

Topics covered will include an overview of the ongoing relief assistance and support during the coronavirus pandemic; how to approach post-stimulus cash flow management and business continuity planning; best mental health practices; and much, much more.
