Firstfolio restructures leadership team

Firstfolio has announced the appointment of Paul Liccione as general manager of sales and distribution and Kon Shizas as general manager of products and services.

Both Mr Liccione and Mr Shizas join Firstfolio from Resi Home Loans, where they held similar senior roles for a number of years.

Mr Liccione will be tasked with enhancing broker relationships and expanding Firstfolio’s network.

Mr Shiza’s role will combine the previously independent functions of product development and operations to deliver a more targeted product suite and increased operational efficiencies in the wholesale division.

Firstfolio chief executive Peter Andronicos said both appointments support the firm’s increasing focus on product development and distribution.

“Paul and Kon are both highly experienced and well-respected industry figures, and we are excited that we have been able to attract people of this calibre who share our vision for growth,” he said.

“We want to capitalise on our competitive advantages in technology, people and process to drive revenues, improve operating efficiency and returns.”

Firstfolio announced at its AGM in November last year that the firm planned to double settlement volumes over the next five years.

Mr Andronicos said the growth would come through a mixture of increased recruitment and productivity.
