John George steps into the position with more than 20 years’ experience in senior management and consulting roles in Australia, New Zealand and the US.

Mr George is currently the director of corporate advisory firm SGD Partners and is also the founder of niche advisory practice Standard Edge. He has previously held executive and senior roles at ASIC and professional services giant KPMG.

Mr George has listed and non-listed public company board experience in non-executive director roles with Shine Lawyers, Gladstone Airport Corporation, EWM and McNab.

YBR executive chairman Mark Bouris said the group’s board is delighted to have recruited a director of Mr George’s calibre.
