LIXI recruits 2 new board members

Mirella Gallace, head of product and servicing, mortgage at Westpac and Abhish Saha, chief executive of Sandstone Technology join the board of LIXI Limited (LIXI) directors along with LXI chair Mike Thanos (Domain), Dimitra Dinos (CBA), Martin Lam (Lendi), Martyn Beer (Cloudcase Software Solutions), Shelley Cotter (ANZ), Phil Quin-Conroy (AMP Bank), and Stephen Moore (Loan Market).

LIXI was established in 2000 for the facilitation of business-to-business exchange of information across the lending industry in Australia, developing and promoting efficiency improvements and data message transaction standards for the Australian lending industry.

Mr Thanos welcomed the pair to the LIXI board of directors: “I am pleased to welcome Mirella Gallace and Abhish Saha to the LIXI Board of Directors.

“I’d also like to say thank you and farewell to Warren Shaw. His expertise and commitment have been incredibly valuable to LIXI, and the entire board wishes him all the best in the future.”

On her appointment to the board, Ms Gallace stated: “It’s a privilege to be appointed to the LIXI Board as a Director.

“Data is a critical enabler for the financial services industry, and I am ready to play an active role with LIXI’s Board as the management team continue to deliver innovation and efficiencies in data automation and standards.

“I would like to thank Chairman, Mike Thanos and CEO, Shane Rigby, for their support in my appointment and I look forward to working with them and the Board.”

Mr Saha stated he has “witnessed the very many benefits of a consistent and well-defined set of standards and interfaces” in order to achieve stronger customer experiences and industry outcomes over his career in technology-related industries.

“I am excited to be appointed to the LIXI Board as a Director and look forward to contributing to the LIXI Board and supporting the management team,” Mr Saha said.
